Petitpaw-designs is owned and run by my self, Lisa Pettipas, Crochet Designer.

How it all began.....
I have been crocheting for over 20 years now, starting when I was around six. I'm not really sure who taught me, I just remember when I was really young sitting in the back seat of the car with my little red purse which had a long cord on it, I crocheted a chain with the cord over my finger, my father looking back saying, "Who taught her that?". My mother couldn't answer, no one really new...

And I havn't stopped since.
As a child I crocheted my own toys and doll cloths, as a teenager I started a few afgans and an older lady I used to stay with named Berna Downing introduced me to thread crochet.

Currently I am taking the next step and designing my own patterns. After the birth of my son when it was time to get him christened I didn't want to wear the traditional gown on him, so I designed the Baby Boy Christening Suit, wrote the pattern, and have sold numerous copies since!

I have been continuing to design, print, and sell my own patterns, which you will find on this site.
